Reparo do tendão patelar

A ruptura dos tendões patelar e do quadríceps é comum em atletas de elite ou amadores. A maioria dos cirurgiões trata essas lesões cirurgicamente para diminuir o risco de incapacidade e morbidade no longo prazo. Historicamente as técnicas com procedimentos abertos são utilizadas para o reparo da ruptura, mas podem se complicar por problemas na cicatrização da ferida e infecção. A técnica minimamente invasiva do sistema PARS (Percutaneous Achilles Repair System) pode ser usada para tratar rupturas dos tendões do quadríceps, patelar e de Aquiles.
