Arthroscopic Assisted Fracture Plate Removal With Arthrex® Quickset™ as a Bone Void Filler

Joshua S. Dines, MD, (New York, NY) demonstrates a minimally invasive, arthroscopic assisted approach for proximal humerus hardware removal. Dr. Dines also displays the use of Arthrex® Quickset™ and explains his rationale on why he utilizes this particular resorbable bone cement to fill the voids left after screw removal. Quickset is a macroporous, injectable, calcium phosphate cement provided in an easy-to-use, closed mixing system. Quickset was designed to maximize porosity on a micro and macro level without compromising its strength characteristics or injectable capabilities, allowing for optimized osteointegration.
