AC Joint Stabilization with InternalBrace™ Ligament Augmentation Repair
Overview
Professor Gordon Mackay, MD, (Glasgow, Scotland) demonstrates his technique to augment an acromioclavicular repair with an InternalBrace™ ligament augmentation consisting of a 3.5 mm BioComposite™ SwiveLock® anchor, the 4.75 mm BioComposite SwiveLock and the FiberTape® suture anteriorly across the acromion and distal clavicle. The AC InternalBrace™ ligament augmentation is used in conjunction with the coracoclavicular ligament fixation and provides posterior and rotational stabilization of the AC joint.
