La obtención del injerto puede realizarse de forma segura y reproducible tanto mediante el método tradicional desde la porción anterior como mediante un método posterior utilizando la técnica de toma de los isquiotibiales..La estación para preparación de injertos de Arthrex ofrece diversas pinzas y postes intercambiables que facilitan el tensionamiento y la sutura del injerto.La preparación de injertos se ha revolucionado con la línea de suturas FiberLoop^® y la técnica SpeedWhip. Los lazos continuos de sutura N° 2 o N° 0 y las agujas rectas o curvas de flotación libre permiten la sutura reproducible del injerto en la mitad del tiempo de las suturas rectas tradicionales.
