PARS: Optimizing Function with Minimized Wound Complication

Anish R. Kadakia, MD, (Chicago, IL) presents the repair of Achilles tendon rupture using PARS (Percutaneous Achilles Repair System). He discusses the latest literature on Achilles repair and describes two different case series. The PARS features an anatomic, contoured jig designed to fit within the paratenon. The PARS Suture Kit contains color‐coded #2 FiberWire® sutures and PARS needles which are used to create strong percutaneous locking sutures on the distal and proximal ends of the Achilles tendon.
