Procedure

Die Behandlung von Schulterinstabilitäten aufgrund von glenoidalem Knochenverlust kann eine Herausforderung darstellen. Zu den gängigen Rekonstruktionstechniken gehören das Latarjet-Verfahren (Korakoid-Transfer) oder die Glenoidaugmentation unter Verwendung eines Beckenkammspans. Dr. Matthew Provenche hat eine Alternative beschrieben, die frisches distales Tibia-Allograft (DTA) verwendet.1 Der laterale Teil der distalen Tibia passt hervorragend zum Glenoid des Patienten, da er eine ähnliche Krümmung, dichten Knochen und Knorpel aufweist.
Die Allograft-Workstation für distale Tibia wird zusammen mit dem Instrumentarium und den kanülierten Schrauben des Arthrex Instrumentensets zur Versorgung von glenoidalem Knochenverlust verwendet. Sie ermöglicht dem Operateur, die gewünschte Größe und Form des Knochenblocks mit Hilfe von Probeimplantaten zu bestimmen, und stellt außerdem einen Satz einfacher Schnittlehren zur Verfügung, um das DTA präzise und passend zum Probeimplantat zu bearbeiten.
